Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

Mental health plays a crucial role in both personal and professional life. In the demanding environment of medical, biological, and mathematical sciences, awareness, early recognition, and supportive conversations can make a meaningful difference.
Ivonne Vazquez Armendariz and Laia Reverte Salisa have successfully completed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, funded by the ImmunoSensation Cluster. This training equips mental health first aiders with the skills to recognize early signs of mental health challenges and provide first-line support on how to proceed.
Ivonne and Laia are available as approachable contacts within WiS LIMES for anyone seeking guidance or support, whether for themselves or on behalf of someone else. Our role is to listen, offer initial assistance, and help connect individuals with appropriate professional resources when needed.
