Prof. Jürgen Bajorath receives Herman Skolnik Award 2015

The American Chemical Society Division of Chemical Information has announced Prof. Dr. Jürgen Bajorath (Department of Life Science Informatics at the B-IT Institute of the University of Bonn) as the recipient of the 2015 Herman Skolnik Award. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to and achievements in the theory and practice of chemical information science and related disciplines. Prof. Bajorath will be invited to present an award symposium at the Fall 2015 ACS National Meeting to be held in Boston, MA. 

Bajorath is a world leader in the development and application of cheminformatics and computational solutions to research problems in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and the life sciences and has done pioneering work in the area of compound data analysis in chemistry.
